Most underwater photographs look like someone dropped their camera in a pool. Getting genuinely good results requires being a competent diver, a decent swimmer, a capable photographer, and patient enough to go back in when the first thirty frames don't work. We've been doing this long enough to make it look easier than it is.
Emmanuel shoots primarily on freediving, which means no bulky scuba equipment, no noise, and no trail of bubbles running the frame. For more complex productions, scuba is available when depth or duration demand it. Sessions run across pools, open ocean, and natural water locations, covering fashion editorials, portraits, commercial product work, and artistic or conceptual projects.
