Folklore does not wait for you to get your settings right. You are either inside the crowd or you are missing it: the paint hits your lens, the mask fills your frame, the procession moves faster than you anticipated. This is not photography you can manage from a safe distance, and we have never tried.

We work as folklore photographers and videographers for cultural institutions, tourism boards, editorial clients, documentary projects, and brands that need real intensity rather than a stock-library version of it. Carnivals, religious processions, indigenous ceremonies, traditional festivals, and the rituals that survive on the calendar because people refuse to let them die. Folklore is the part of a culture that refuses to stay indoors. We follow it wherever it goes.
