Some events ask for a film. Others ask for an archive. TUI's hotelier event at the GF Victoria in Tenerife, on October 15, 2026, asked for something rarer: speed without carelessness. Three hours of photo and video coverage, and a client who needed the results fast.
People over places
TUI knew exactly what they wanted, and said so: faces over empty corridors, energy over decor, a light and cheerful record of an afternoon spent with the hoteliers they work with. So we built the coverage around people. The venue played its part, but as a setting, not as the subject.
Two cameras, one rhythm
We worked as a pair, one of us on video, one on stills, with the video camera stealing the occasional photograph between takes. Two operators means nobody has to choose between the speech and the reaction to it.
The afternoon moved from a cocktail outdoors in the sun to the speeches inside, and the film follows the same path: the chatter and clinking glasses first, then the room settling, then the words that mattered.
Fast, and still finished
The photos arrived ahead of schedule, 210 images, every one of them developed and color graded individually. The first cut of the film followed within 72 hours. When TUI asked for something under two minutes for their channels, we cut a 1:42 version, keeping the transition from the cocktail to the speeches so the film still flows the way the afternoon did. Everything was delivered in 4K and 1080p, along with the speakers' messages as separate clips.
Speed is easy. Speed without regret is the hard part.
