Physical artworks deteriorate. Exhibitions end. Collections get sold, dispersed, or stored away. A high-resolution digital archive means the work survives all of that.
We photograph artworks for artists, collectors, and galleries who need faithful digital records of their pieces. Faithful means faithful: accurate colour, correct exposure, no distortion, no loss of texture or detail. The kind of file you can reproduce from, archive, exhibit online, or submit to an institution without apology.
The setup in our studio (image above) gives you some idea of the scale this can reach. Large-format paintings require controlled lighting, careful positioning, and sometimes multiple captures stitched together. It is precise, methodical work, which suits us fine.
The gallery below includes work by Arnaldo Roche-Rabell and several other artists whose pieces we have had the privilege of documenting.
