Some shoots are planned to the last detail. Others just happen. And sometimes, those are the ones that leave the biggest mark.
This one started with a late dinner out with Liliana and Mélissa. Around 11 p.m., on the quiet ride home, I half-jokingly asked Liliana if she felt like doing a quick photo shoot. Her answer: "Sure, why not."
That was enough. While they waited in the car, I made a detour to the studio, grabbed a camera and flash, and met them back a few minutes later. First location: a pedestrian bridge above the highway. City lights blurring into bokeh in the distance, air still warm from the day.
Liliana stepped into the frame with her usual mix of elegance and mischief. Effortless, confident, glowing. Mélissa took on the role of impromptu DJ and behind-the-scenes crew, blasting music from her phone and documenting everything with snapshots and video clips. The atmosphere was light, playful, and completely unscripted.
We wandered a few more urban corners after that. Empty streets, graffiti-marked barriers, crosswalks under yellow sodium lights. The mundane turned cinematic. Every frame felt alive.
We wrapped around 1 a.m., not tired in the slightest. No pressure, no expectations. Just shared creativity and the kind of memory that sticks.
The images? Every single one delivered. Nothing forced. Nothing wasted.
