Today was not a good day for flying. And certainly not a 249 gram drone! Too windy. But its 3 batteries were charged, since I had used this drone in the morning to take pictures of a residencial complex. So, I had enough juice to fly about 40 more minutes. And I needed to breathe some fresh air. So I took off again in the afternoon on the south-east coast of Tenerife. Until the dreaded alert flashed red on the screen. “Strong winds, please return to home point and land immediately”.
The DJI Mini 2 was the only drone I could use to fly over the residencial complex in the morning, which is why I had it ready and available. For small-sized images meant to be viewed on phone screens, it’s still a pretty decent flying bug. I should fly it more often, actually. It’s fun.
